Though 2007 was a year of real estate market lows and the balance of 2008 is still uncertain, new communities continue to develop on the Southern landscape, and lake and riverfront properties are some of the most prominent among them.
Developers of waterside havens aren’t battling the risky market without clever strategizing, however. Currently, they’re using unique waterfront locations and adding high-end amenities to lure buyers who are searching out a very specific and widely favored way of life.
